The remote control unit provides quick and easy access to the most important settings for level control in commercial vehicles under demanding environmental conditions.
Thanks to its rugged design and the use of various synthetic material technologies, the assembly ensures reliable operation. At its core are proven RAFI-manufactured RACON micro-switches, which are designed for a long service life. The various components feature high durability.
RAFI handled the entire development and manufacturing process as a single-source provider, consistently tailoring it to the high quality standards and demanding requirements of the customer and its end users.
To ensure reliable operation and tactile feedback, the customer uses RAFI’s proven RACON key switches, which feature excellent tactile feedback and a long service life.
The RACON micro-switches, which are mounted on the PCB, are installed in the housing. RAFI manufactures the housing in-house using complex 4K synthetic material technology, including synthetic material overmolding. Depending on the specific model, the mechanical design allows for protection classes of at least IP64.
Since level control is used in nearly all vehicle brands, comprehensive version management is required. Thanks to our vertical integration and high degree of in-house production, we manage this complexity in-house and thus offer our customers everything from a single source.
